Like many millennials, our founder spent years climbing the corporate ladder, dedicating her time and energy to a traditional desk job. But after returning from a beach vacation, she faced a sudden and unexpected layoff for a major life transition. It was a stark wake-up call. In a single moment, the illusion of corporate security vanished, and the strive to be in control of her our journey began.

Faced with a sudden end to her corporate career, she chose a new path. As a millennial mom, she decided to leave the corporate grind and its toxic dynamics behind forever. She realized that the only way to truly protect her future, her family, and her peace of mind was to place her finances, her creativity, and her career firmly into her own hands.

From that desire for autonomy, SmileyKin was born.
